Accept Society in Bangalore, India, has served some of the most vulnerable members of the community for 24 years. A government-recognized charity, Accept provides medical care, counseling, and support to individuals affected by HIV/AIDS, including orphaned children and elderly residents.
Employees from BCD’s Shared Service Center (SSC) in Bangalore partnered with Accept to improve living conditions at their care center. Volunteers spend their weekends assisting in various ways, from cleaning the center and providing companionship to digitizing records and teaching computer literacy to the children. Accept also is contributing to critical infrastructure upgrades like installing lifts and building roads – to enhance mobility for wheelchair users and improve the day-to-day lives of the children and elderly at the facility.
