About

Estrid (5) went to Liseberg amusement park in Gothenburg with her mum and dad. Arthur (10) met astronaut Marcus Wandt at the Air Force Museum in Linköping. And Olivia (17) took a trip to
Iceland to swim at The Blue Lagoon.

These are just some of the stories behind Min Stora Dag, or ‘My Big Day’. This Swedish organization provides seriously ill children between the ages of four and eighteen with an
unforgettable experience. This can be to fulfill an individual wish, such as meeting an idol or visiting a special place, or a group activity such as an adventure camp or a theme day.

The year 2025 marks the 25th anniversary of Min Stora Dag. For a quarter of a century, the organization has been making a difference to thousands of children across Sweden. Through
programs such as Glädje utan gränser (Joy without borders), the Foundation aims to reach even more children, including those from migrant backgrounds.

The days Min Stora Day makes possible have a significant impact. Not only do they provide something positive in an often dark period, but they can also boost the children’s selfconfidence, motivation, and sometimes even recovery. The days give hope and create moments of happiness at times when these
children need it most.

Min Stora Dag is committed to helping children and young people aged four to seventeen who are dealing with a serious illness or diagnoses that have a major impact
on their lives

In Sweden, around 200,000 children belong to this target group

Min Stora Dag works with 431 healthcare providers across the country
